- the distribution of tasks
- the service monitoring
- the service invoicing
The launch of a new project is waiting for you,
let's go!
Did you know?

This is called a Kanban view. In this exercise, the Kanban view represents a whiteboard with its steps and post-its. The columns are the steps and the tasks are the post-its.
The tasks start in the left column and then move to the next ones. This view allows you to visualize at once the steps of a project and to easily identify the status of each task.
1. Send a quotation
Nicolas • Salesperson
I've just had a meeting with Arthur Diallo, and he's very interested in our tailor made kitchens!
Can you send him a quotation with our products measurements, design and installation?
You can set 1 hour for the measurements, 5 hours for the design and 12 hours for the installation.
You
I'll take care of it right away!
Nicolas • Salesperson, 1 hour later
Good news! Arthur Diallo confirmed the quotation.
Did you know?
Go to the Project application to see that new tasks have been created in the "Tailor made kitchens" project based on your purchase order.
2. Customize the project
Simon • Project Manager
Based on the results of our customer satisfaction survey, we need to set up better follow-up after the installation of our kitchens.
Could you add a feedback stage to our project?
Also, you can assign the tasks to our technician, Caroline. I'll leave you, Audrey, in charge of the kitchen design.
Don't forget to schedule a call with the customer next week to arrange a time to measure the kitchen.
You
Ok, I'll do that right now and move the task to the stage In progress!
3. Record your time
Simon • Project manager, 2 months later
Caroline's team has finally completed the kitchen project for Arthur Diallo.
Can you update the project to indicate that they worked for 1 hour on the measurements, 5 hours on the design and 16 hours on installing the kitchen?
When this is done, you can move the tasks to the correct project stages and mark them as done.
You
Sure!
4. Invoice the customer
Simon • Project manager
The project for Arthur Diallo is finished.
You can invoice the customer.
You
Right away!
Have you noticed that the amount billed is different from
the amount quoted in the request for quotation?
This is because the measurements, design and installation products have been configured to be billed based on the delivered quantity.
